A new year for the Stanz...lotta Goals

Being that I just read my friend's (PDodd) blog that he created, I figured I would give this a shot. It is New Years Eve 2007. Currently, there is roughly 13 hours left in 2007, and I couldn't be more thrilled. Not that it was a bad year, there was a lot of good, but 2007 will be seen as a springboard in my life. Alot of things happened that will clearly change the course and direction of my life. Relationships ended, relationships began, relationships continued, and relationships went from one level to the next. You see, the way I see things, if you want to be happy, it is all about the relationships that you have in life. Whether its a girlfriend, a wife, a parent, a brother, a sister, a friend, a co-worker, a business client, an enemy, and especially God, relationships will ultimately determine what kind of person you are. I am absolutely blessed with the most unbelieveable friends that a person can have. So that part couldn't be any easier. My family has its quirks just like anyone else's, but what we lack in stability, we make up in laughter, loyalty, and a keen sense of support for one another...so that part is pretty solid. Work is going great and I am managing to build great realtionships with some great business partners so that going good as well. I have a new girl in my life and that seems to be going pretty well too. Really, I think where I am lacking is my relationship with God. Don't get me wrong, I am not gonna get all religious on you, but one thing that '07 taught me, was that I am a happier guy the more I get closer to God...so that is one of my biggest goals in 2008.
